A minimal, working starter kit for background developer automations: worktree isolation, idempotency, locking and notifications, written to accompany my dev.to post.
The spark
Each background automation I wrote needed the same plumbing first: isolation, locking, notifications and a safe way to run twice.
What was built
I extracted the roughly 80 lines of shared glue into a small kit, with a read only standup drafter to start safely and a PR comment resolver that tries fixes in an isolated git worktree.
