The spark
When I moved cities and joined a 1,000-person newcomers' WhatsApp group, every genuine event drowned under housing, jobs and marketplace noise. I kept missing things I would have loved to attend.
What was built
So I built a curated, community-first discovery app: verified organisers, structured listings and a deliberately calm interface: an installable, SEO-first PWA on a Postgres backend, live behind Cloudflare on hapnin.city.
